Part 41: Sneak peeks
More!
More! More sneak peeks! Only for patrons!
Sneak peeks approaching, I repeat, sneak peeks approaching!
We shot the 41st Project L with Jasmin yesterday, so I'm currently editing the photos so that I could perhaps get 'em published by tomorrow.
PS: 39th and 40th part's cards should be in the mail heading to everyone who had pledged $5 or more! Rejoice!...

Lamp is love. Lamp is life.

So here we are again. It's always such a pleasure.
Awesome on-the-point references aside, the behind the scenes and outtake photos are here. With the vide...

Another exclusive preview for my dear patrons of the 40th part's behind the scenes and outtake photos.
The edit progress of the 40th part's video is still ongoing, as I've decided to try a new approach to the behind the scenes video by attaching a small action video camera (as seen before on Patreon posts) on the top of my still camera, Canon's 1D X.
I think that these clips create a better and more honest approach t...

Project L's 40th part is finally here, after weeks and weeks of relentless waiting. We returned with a brand new model, with whose presence we will most likely enjoy quite a lot...
2015-09-07 17:04:39 +0000 UTC View PostMore! MORE! These photos are more like work in progress, as the colours and post-processing have not yet been finished entirely.
But everything best for the project's lovely Patrons!
My apartment is a mess – yet again. But as goes my reasoning, it gives more depth and a feel of reality to the photos; not every home is taken straight from an interior design magazine.
Funny how two different colours seem so very close to each other when in different lighting temperatures.
The 40th project has been shot, and now all that's left is editing the photos and videos. Here's a slight sneak peek with the suit Paul had donated to us beforehand! Remember to love your local Pauls in the donor's honor.
The slanting lens hood gives a nice-looking vignetting to this photo, albeit it surely was not ...
2015-09-06 12:21:27 +0000 UTC View PostThe 40th Project L was unfortunately not shot on the last weekend due to a mixup in our schedules; but worry not, the project will be shot on the next weekend (unless a tornado hits Finland or something).
Because you've all been so patient, here's a sneak peek to our quick test wear of one of the lately donated suit...
2015-08-31 21:41:39 +0000 UTC View PostGreetings from the on-again-off-again sunny Finland!
Now that we've managed to move apartments, have a holiday and other silly tasks, we're ready to shoot again! The next Project L will be shot on the next Saturday!
Just to keep you all updated,
Tuomas
Oh my, we've reached an another milestone – more video! Thank you all so very much, this all means the world to me! Introcuding my secret weapon: Sony's AZ1 Action Cam! Basically it's a GoPro, made by Sony, but with far less "threatening" front end; whereas GoPro is instantly recognizable nowadays, a smaller camera with much ...

2015-07-14 12:20:43 +0000 UTC View PostBehind the scenes of Project L's 39th part are here - woo! I thought that it could be interesting to see how and why we chose to to use such simple lighting in the 39th part's harsh, strong sunlight, so I wrote a little about the workflow. 2015-07-12 10:57:56 +0000 UTC View Post
"A sunny day on a beach? Well, better show it in black and white!" - Me, just now. I don't know, I just really, _really_ like black and white photography - especially when harsh edges, such as water, and smooth shapes, such as latex, are involved. Besides, a high-contrast light of the noon is really, really boring in colour. Us...
2015-07-11 21:29:29 +0000 UTC View PostThe behind the scenes video of Project L's 39th part is here - and for you, my beloved patrons, multiple days before anyone else can see it! Sorry for the dust on my camera's sensor! I guess I was feeling particularly lazy that day. :
2015-07-10 12:44:23 +0000 UTC View PostThis photo won't end up in the actual behind the scenes, but only for you, my dear patrons, as it only proves how damn messy my current work station is. Oh god. Even Jonna's looking at it in awe.

The model is someone you might recognize from the 15th Project L, "Pasila campus" - my classmate Jasmin!
