This was a fun challenge to myself to try some EGA pixel art reminiscent of old DOS games. It's amazing what some artists were able to accomplish with such a limited, harsh pallete It does work well for night scenes though.

A friend and I have a head canon about a hyper bird strip club. I've been meaning to draw scenes or characters from it for a while now, like this ostrich dancer with thick thighs and huge feet. I'll probably explore this idea more sometime.
