Gillian's retro space babe persona "Starianna" has always been an homage to 70's & 80's B sci fi, and inspired primarily by the lovely Caroline Munro as "Stella Star" in 1979's "Starcrash".
That movie has a sort of Holy Grail classic quicksand scene, as it was scripted, and even filmed... but was cut from the final...

Another one from the earlier commissions archive. When Gillian tried out her pixie cut, she tried it in a few colors as well as her natural. For her space babe persona Starianna, I had her try jet black, as well as a new outfit.
During this iteration, Starianna found herself captured by an alien bounty huntress as well...
