Redoing Dennis and Stills for 'Hook, Line and Stinker'

Ultimately I couldn't stand Dennis being as small as he was originally. It just doesn't match up with previous images or the Canon size differences. Yeah the werewolves are big guys, but no obnoxiously big!

The longer I work in colored pencil and marker, the more I think I might also draw characters the same way. Instead of doing these painted cels.

I like the idea of still using the cell method to paint word bubbles, but I may try a piece in the future thats entirely colored pencil and marker.

Here's the current progress of this piece all together. The background still has a long way to go and I need to paint a cell of plant foliage that'll go over Ripley, hiding where his leg ends.

But man, I'm so proud of this!!

Today was more productive. Finished the finalized pencils for the background of 'Hook, Line and Stinker.' As well as, started painting the Artie and Ripley cell.

I had to re-do the cell though cause the last one I accidentally painted on the wrong side 🙃
