I've gotten a little bit fixated with that sci-fi white dress/blue boots getup, and spent a bit more time fleshing it out into a fuller concept. It's OK- I'm getting on will with the gate battle, I've almost finished the renders for Triptychs, and making good headway with the Scuba montage, so I figure it's worth investing so...

Scuba shoot-out

The scuba scene I mentioned earlier is finally done, though I'm not sure how satisfied I am with the results. Instead of using an underwater render set, I used various noise, layer and distort effects in GIMP.

Sci-fi outfit

That Sci-fi outfit that I said I wasn't sure about has stuck in my head and I had to sink a bit more time into getting it right. I think I'm sold on this setup now- expect it to show up in some weekly renders in the near future, and perhaps even a story once Triptychs and Drop-pods have run their course...
