This one-off set seems to be turning into a series, and I am not made about it. The style I came up with for Hinterlands Bedroom really speaks to me. It's classic by not fussy, and really works well in my more traditional homes without looking gaudy and cliche. So of course the design style suited a living room. It all starte...

If you have followed me for a while, you know I have a soft spot for MCM-style furniture. I really loved the retro vibes of the sofas we got in the pack, but I wanted plain versions without pillows and a throw, as well as a choice without patterns. To me, it was just easier making a sofa with the same vibes then trying to pat...

Time for part II of my Sulani makeover. Some of these builds you may recognise from my Island Living addon which I used to showcase those homes. They were shells then, but I am so happy I managed to furnish them because I was really happy with their aesthetic. You may also notice that the small Caldera build uses a lot of pac...

I just wanted to update you all on the state of things over here. I have had some interesting times recently, and some life changes that I am still adapting to. Because of this, my hobby of creating CC has slowed temporarily as finding the motivation has been hard, even though I really love making content to relax. Because of...

I am working on some large projects right now, and don't have a backlog of smaller stuff to get out, so I thought I would catch up on my world makeovers (because there is always the odd person popping up and asking about them). Sulani is a big world, and because of that I had to break it into two parts. This world ranges from...

Going to be brutally honest; I can't even use the stone windows from Cottage Living. Their scale is completely off and you would have thought they were a grand window, but they just lack the size. I had to fix it. So I enlarged them by about 50% and added more grand sizes. The lack of a matching door also bugged me, so I stri...

Another week, another sectional. Like most of you have probably figured out, I m addicted to sofas. If not, welcome to my favourite object I love making for my game. With the introduction of sectionals, it just opened up a whole different can of worms so I now have even more options for making seating (not that I needed an ex...

After Dream Home Decorator came out I knew that everyone who asked me to make a sectional would come knocking on my door saying "you said you would make a sectional if Maxis made one!" I am a man of my word and this is my first proper sectional utilising the new system. I will do more, but I will not solely make these as I st...

I had this idea for a country bedroom which sprung up from a wardrobe I had intended to go with a now scrapped set. With Cottage Living announced, I decided to move it off the back burner and finish it as i felt that it would work great for the pack. With a few additions including some lovely floral bedding, it's finally read...

So I did say I had a second part to Kitayama, and here it is. I initially started out with the Living room, which quickly grew to include a dining room as well. However, uploading and maintaining large files is a pain, so I split it up. Now I am able to upload, I can share it with all you. Hopefully it's not disappointing aft...

This set came about from a Pinterest image where Japanese and Scandinavian style were fused together to create something new. I really loved the idea and was inspired to make a set based on the theme. There are parallels between the two styles, but the beauty is in the differences and married together become of so wonderful. ...

Been pretty busy IRL so not much time to create or work on current projects. Getting back into it so trying to get Kitayama ready (or at least part I) for upload this weekend or next. I don't know what it is about 2021, but it just has me run off my feet 😅😂

I had a lot of fun with the new Courtyard Oasis Kit, and decided to upload the house that eventuated from that fun. I started with the courtyard and worked out, so it's not a perfect shape or layout, but I think it works pretty well when I chose aesthetics over function. Had a lot of issues with the known stair bug where open...

I saw this sofa design on pinterest, and had to have it for my game. The tub chair aesthetic really spoke to me, and the slight curves with a subtle pattern was just wonderful. I really feel this design will be at home in an apartment or loft and just add a bit of visual interest without being the centre of attention.

Highly requested (and something I missed which I usually do after a pack release) was recolouring the Eco Lifestyle flooring. I didn't do just that, I thought it was a missed opportunity not having the Upcycled timber walls as a flooring too, so I made it so in both original colour, and my recoloured version. I also took the ...

I love my MCM items, and I feel that sometimes there are are no walls that compliment the style. I stumbled across a pinterest post with a similar DIY mural and thought to myself "this would be great in my builds" and set about making it. I am really happy with the outcome and happy to have, albeit modern, wall for my MCM roo...

I really loved the knitted pattern from the CL bed, but thought the texture was way too large. So I scaled it down and couldn't figure out what to do with it until recently. I really love how these came out, and now I have another textured option for my bedding, in all sizes.
would people be interested in this option along with the month-to-month options? Only downside is I have to enable charging up-front.

This was supposed to go up last week, but you know how life gets in the way. This is something I have been teasing on Patreon (only thing I could think to give as a little thank you to those supporting without pay-walling stuff). It is in concept a basics collection to give a standard, simple design that can be used throughou...

I was decorating in-game and realised just how lacking walls for children's rooms are. Then I remembered I had always planned to turn my Roarsome animal designs into a wall and made that. Better late them never? Anyway, I put these on my newer wall design and decided to add some solids for more versatility. I may add some mor...

I haven't had this much fun with a stuff pack in quite a while, and was really inspired to add more content. I came up with 20 edits for items I wanted (or altered) and really happy with the outcome. Some just make sense (like the large vase being shrunk and slottable) to wants (really wanted a bedframe) to making things a bi...

I had so much fun testing out the Paranormal Stuff Pack when I was granted early access thanks to the Gamechangers program. So much fun, I built 2 houses for it! The first, Hawthorne House, I used to playtest the pack. The other was inspired by the Painting, Temperance Manor. Both houses only use Basegame and the stuff pack f...

Another upload, another sofa set. This style is a bit different then what I usually do. It was adapted from a modern take on a camel back but I preferred it with a flat back. The bolster pillows (not separate) add a bit of panache that would have made an otherwise boring design, something a bit more classy. I definitely see t...

A brand new year, and a brand new set of buildmode items to share.
