At the beginning of 2019 I challenged myself to study from photos. This sketchbook alongside two more are the outcome of this challenge. Damn, this one is a perfect mess. I disliked the original background so much that I ended up cutting out the whole character out of the card and glueing it down to a new blank card π

I always have a problem with starting a bigger project if I'm not warmed up, especially in the mornings. My hand isn't working well, my brain is too slow and too lazy to actually imagine poses and make an effort to make it look even slightly life-like.
But what always works for me is 60/90sec sketches with poseman...
