On January the 29th, I was supposed to shoot once more with Ary, but unfortunately she was ill and had to cancel the whole trip to Milano.

When the light started to fade away, I took out of my backpack the heavy artillery like Schwarzenegger in the action movies from the 90ties, and prepared to shoot the creatures of the dark.
But the shadows in the studio were populated just with the cute Annalisa, and I was shooting with the old Nikon D810 and the Nikkor 85...

Not everybody likes tan lines on pretty ladies, but I think they add to the mystery.
It is as if we're the only ones allowed to see something that is usually hidden from everybody else, not under the sun.

With her pretty face, Sophy always wins hands down.
But I also wanted to try and enhance her torso without even having the distraction of the face in the frame, and she just shines anyway, showing the same elegance of her full figure.
I'm pretty sure every part of her body exudes the same level of confidence and beauty....

The young ladies I portray are flexible, so you can pull off a back-view of the bottom while still getting a nearly frontal portrait of the face in the same picture, and the pose still feel natural and relaxed!
Just a few creases on the neck and on the side of the belly are giving away the extreme twisting of the body, but...
When you place a model between 2 windows (especially a blond one), you always get a nice glow all around the body and in the backlighted hair, that helps her to stand out from the darker background.

19 shootings were too many in 2022, and most of them are still stuck in my Mac books...
My intent for 2023 was to reduce the number of shootings and concentrate of going back to work with the models that I liked in the previous year.
