Like I said, not exactly the most nuanced I've ever been, but you can't just ignore the unglamorous sides of people in a slice of life comic. I'm all about that realism.

WIP: Hold it Right There

This coming main comic is another hefty four pages long and wraps up the story arc about the two little super gremlins Captain Tincap and Sparrowhead. I've had to put it on hold briefly in favour of life things like...the laundry...always laundry...never not laundry...

There comes a point where I have to admit that Lee can sometimes be a little Yotsuba inspired (if any weebs out there understand what the hell I mean by that).

Back when I was entertaining the idea that Roundhouse was anywhere close to viable as a physical publication, I had a think about what a front cover might look like.

Several rejection emails from various publishers soon disabused me of that notion. Thank god for online self-publishing, am I right?

Oh snap, we got a big comic incoming! I'm so excited you guys, this was so long in coming. It's a four-pager so there's at least a precedent for why it's taking an absolute age, but I'm spending as much of my time on it as I can.

This was a quick sketch to get my anatomy senses working properly. I would have done more of Freddy as well, but you know, she can't exactly float into full view like Lee can. Or can she? Nah.

Finally getting back on that main comic. Next episode features some new characters and hijinks and so forth. I honestly don't know how long it'll take me but by god, it'll get done.

Throwback: EarLee Concept

I unearthed one of the first ever pictures I drew of Lee and gave it the quick brush and colour treatment. Tried my best to maintain the OG style as I went. 

Please note the sheer lack of artistic skill and consider the inevitable improvement we all are incapable of avoiding.
