Sofia’s  bed was a great big quilted plateau of downy blankets and crisp pillow  ridges. He was very content to just get lost in the cushy folds and  valleys of the bed. He sank into that softness and let the lazy pattern  of the ceiling fan stirring overhead paint him over with relieving  coolness....
