Things have added up and the next patch is coming, but just to let it simmer a bit I've made a test version of patch 0.2.1 over on discord. If you're interested in trying it out before release, you can help test it out : ) It comes with a save ready to get going into what the new content is.

I really wish I knew some more artists that took shading commissions :/ Until I find one, we'll keep them flat colored to keep things moving.

Phew - welcome to another episode of Leopold bemoans how slow he is to paint backgrounds. They always seem to take longer than I anticipates. That being said, I really like how this turned. Lineart was done by commission of poprocker566 over of FA.
