I shaved the models head before the session. I like that because it shows the dedication of the model and it allows to paint over the entire body.
The body becomes a living piece of art and in this LAYERS project, the work is not done once the body is covered completely.
I like when I can work with the model as open as possible. There should be no taboo as going over borders and experiment is part of creativiy.
I like the trust situation between me and the model. Bodypainting is more than just painting someones body. It's an act of creativity on a living canvas.
The backside gets covered more and more. On the feet it looks almost like the model is wearing an overall.
Did you notice the camera on the floor? This is its view looking up.
For me working with paint on the body is always like an experiment. I didn't know how the white will look when it's painted over the red layer.
I choose white, because it is the perfect color for a XMAS session! The XMAS advent calendar is always a very special way to show my work to a broader audience and this session will lead directly into the PATREON project!
The paint is now nearly dry. You can see that the paint on the models skin is already getting matte.
Putting the hands up makes the painted model even more vulnerable and exposed.

Red is a very intense color and to see the whole body nearly finished is a cool thing to experience.
Now it's time to also paint the sole. I want to be sure it's 100 % coverage!
By painting the ass and the back I get a big step closer to completely cover the models body.

When I put my finger in the paint I can feel that it's cold. But it's summer, so the model can cope with the temperature.
I like to paint the feets. Later I will also paint the sole of the feet.
It's cool to see how the body gets covered in paint more and more.
