After a long struggle I think I've managed to finally correctly calibrate my monitors. Turns out the problem was one of them had an insanely high gamma correction by default and that "dragged upwards" the other one when I tried to match them. The result was images that I saw bright and clear appeared dark on normal monitors. ...
