I feel like a lot happens here but also nothing happens here π€£ I thought we'd be getting more into the meat of this arc but they appear to be saving it for the end because unless they plan on leaving a lot of loose ends, the last 4 episodes of this arc are going to be HUGE!

I always love watching something I know nothing about and getting pleasant surprises! I miss this kind of movie a lot, high fantasy is so rare nowadays, and what little you see is way more meta and tongue in cheek. Enjoy, and pray Paramount leaves me alone this time! π

The show is doing a great job showing us the transition of protagonist to full villain without shoving it in our faces. It's clear but subtle that Walt has not only gone down the dark path, but he's probably been a lot further along it and for a lot longer than we've realized.
I'd still pick Mike in a head to head tho...
I feel like this kind of movie just peaked in the 80s. The 90s really shied away from high fantasy as a whole, and then what did exist got meta and tongue-in-cheek. A nice palate cleanser from the heaviness and tears of the last few weeks π€£

So yep, Walt thinks he can just step into Gus's shoes and everything is going to be easy peasy. I'm betting Gus spent years making connections, building business relationships, working out supply systems, and covering his tracks, but Walt thinks he can just hop to it and be the king. I suspect it's not going to go well.

What tipped Gus off??? He didn't seem entirely sure what was wrong or where Walt was but he obviously knew something was up. They were so CLOSE π© And why did Gus back off Jesse anyway? Is that what got his antennas up?

I really wanted to do something with Dabney Coleman that I hadn't seen yet, this one felt like the natural choice. A lot of wacky hijinks but also a lot of heart in the end, and who doesn't love an unexpected Bill Murray appearance?
