This one took me longer than usual because of sketch pages and holidays but I'm pleased with this painting as I'm applying new knowledge from composition studies. The commissioner may ask for some small revisions but this is otherwise 99% finished.

Apologies if I uploaded any of these already but I think I have not.
Slowed down on them a little bit. I've been getting outside to wildlife areas to photo all the weird ducks that have been showing up. I also went to a bonsai museum that was super cool.

The chief reason was the gem and jewelry show. There were not as many loose gems as I might have hoped but i Did get this lovely and unusual piece of labradorite. My group then went to the Frye Museum where I saw a hilarious painting and some great kid animations. All in all a very good trip. I hope to incorporate the labrado...
