I wanted to explicitly focus attention on compositional aspects going in and make plans for the final pic, so ultimately instead of thinking about it later, planning around values basically at the start became really important to making the path towards the end goal.

I'm pondering probably a Stygian color alt down the road but it may depend on whether I find that doing overpaints for some elements by the end make it really inefficient. We shall see.

Hey I actually finished it! I'd been poking at it every couple weeks and since I'm aiming to make sure that there's two art pack pics per month this year, seemed like a good idea to finish up this one. There were a few things process-wise I needed something not-a-comm to figure out with too so it was good timing anyways...
