Pretty CF ABS for MK3/s is ready!!

Dialed in beyond sexiness indeed. Pretty CF ABS is amazing and love just how much lighter this is than PETG. With a HDT of around 108-110C it's 20C better than PETG so even better at not warping in those high heat situations. 

Glow PETG works with CF profile!

I was waiting for the nylon to dry so I ran some glow and the same Pretty CF PETG profile we know works just as awesomely with Glow PETG. This happens to be blue glowing PETG from Atomic. Flawless victory!

Preliminary Atomic CF ABS Prusa Slicer Profile

I've got this dialed in really well with no warping and great layer adhesion. Feel free to try it out and make sure you're printing in a warm area. If it's too cold it'll warp for sure.

I got the enclosure all working so I decided to test out this roll of CF ABS from Atomic Filaments that I have had sitting since summer.

Wow. No warping. Stuck well to the textured bed. Layering is beautiful. Less sticking to the nozzle vs the CF PETG. Bridges are great. Print quality is phenomenal.

Okay. I have a really nice thermocouple, a stock einsy board. Same thermistor and heater cartridge. A Noctua fan and a sunon fan. It’s back to stock! Sort of...

Well I had to do a couple things my way. Mostly the Vecko X axis but everything else is stock and sexy. Welcome to my carbon stealth prusa.

Ended up perfectly perpendicular and now I’m finishing up the first layer calibration.

I do have another neat trick up my sleeve for testing so stay tune!

Slowly

Grabbed my mosquito BMG MK3s and swapped all the old parts for some sexy CF PETG stock parts. Got to have a stock machine to compare against. Printing the last few parts and I should have this back to normal soon enough. After this is back I can work on the BMG Bear MK3s. The list is getting shorter!

Right before I hopped into the shower DHL drove up and handed me my brand new Prusa Mini. Come hang out live at 4pm Central USA time while I unbox, setup, and print my first print with the mini. Hope ya'll as excited as I am.

Last item on the list!

The ole Meanwell LRS-350-24 is a great replacement for the stock PSU if you’re looking for one. It’s smaller and on the bear frame there is a great case print that puts the power connector to the back of the frame which I love.
