Commission for @fek of their character Cricket! It was a lot of fun trying to figure out rendering, since i'm working on photoshop now. If you zoom in you can see very small scribbly strokes of layered brushwork - mostly the circle brush!

Finally done with this big illustration! The biggest challenge here was the perspective, so i set it up in Clip Studio first. Attached are the sketches and color roughs the client got to choose from.
The piece is based on a Kagura - a traditional dance in two parts meant to appease and commune with Shinto god...
