This one was quite the project! But the subject matter is my specialty. Boys smoochin! In hindsight, I do need to learn a lot more about painting foliage, but this is still good to me as the foliage is on the borders and background of the image. I tried a new thing with this one! I got all my notes aligned beforehand and made sure to plan out every individual factor. Lighting, expression, composition, colors, perspective, etc. It really works out for me so I'm going to try it again next time! This smoochagram was finished in record time! And it looks great! The colors are where I want them, though the shape and values are a little off it's not enough to be bothersome! But I will be making corrections to it in the future!
Idea- So this one worked out pretty quickly. Soft, tender, size difference! Making it feel floaty was a good call I think!
Mood board- so for this I want touch, I want light atmosphere, I want tender soft colors, and clouds!
Refining the sketch- I'm trying to limit how much time I spend on the lines and keep it strictly...
