The Paths of Sabriel
Today we look at Garth Nix's Sabriel, the first book in the Old Kingdom series. It's got necromancy, talking cats, flying machines and five hundred thousands utterances of the word "Charter." It's a book that really makes you question what's important in literature, and I don't necessarily mean that in a good way.
