FINALLY, got these done!
I think I handled the balance of detail a lot better than in my first attempt :P
OKAY, last week didn't go so well. I started drawing ocean stuff, realized I needed more practice drawing ocean stuff, and basically didn't do anything else for the rest of the week :P
SO, this week, I'm gonna give ocean stuff another try, now that I've practiced a bit more.

OKAY, I think I have a better idea of how to do ocean environments now. I tried to match the level of detail in my other environments, to help the scene feel full without having to worry about tons and tons of objects/details.

Just in case I don't finish a few more, here's at least one character concept.
I took the snapping turtle from one of my original animal sets, and improved his design.
I imagine him as a territorial land owner, kinda like Fuzzy Lumpkins from The Powerpuff Girls, but smarter and more intimidating.
Got kind of a late start on these today, but they're done now!
I made sure to include a few actual buildings/houses this time!

I was hoping to draw six characters, but today's been a pretty busy day, not as much time for drawing, so I'll just post the three characters I did make.
A shopaholic squirrel, a door-to-door salesman woodpecker, and a security owl :)
It was actually easier to think of characters than I thought it would be...
I had some extra energy today, so I went and drew a bunch of industrial props, since they would be pretty common in a series about a team of maintenance animals :)

Another successful day!
Here are a bunch of the man-made (or in this case, animal-made) objects I imagine being in the forest.

Here's my plan. At the beginning of each week, I will select a theme.
After selecting my theme, each weekday will be dedicated to a different kind of drawing for that theme:
