As I've said before, one of the real challenges with plotting this issue was coordinating so many characters and what they are all up to. I thought that Shivani getting kicked out and stumbling upon Meiling and Duane was a puzzle piece that snapped into place quite nicely in the end.

One of the biggest "drama" moments of the issue, along with the argument between Olivia and Martin. I wanted to try to show that Olivia is less in control of her emotions tonight as she has been drinking a lot, similar to when she got lost in her thoughts and told her backstory to Lupe.

The biggest challenge of this issue was coordinating and dealing with so many characters all in the same location. There's a lot of moving parts and also people moving around, but it does allow for a lot of interesting interactions that may not have normally come up, like the one with Olivia and Catalina.
