God dang I love how this one turned out. Inktober has been such a great learning experience for copics. I definitely feel like I've become a little more skilled with this medium, and I'm sooo dang excited to continue! I also think my drive and productivity for making new full color pieces hasn't been this high since.. Maybe 3-4 ...

My absolute favourite thing about this one are her toe beans. Holy crap. It took a while before I was happy with the feet but the coloring made it so much better imo.

I did a little mock-up of Nordic protection runes, to make them seem a little more witchy I suppose. And of course then there's the uh... Ricky tattoo.

Pay no attention to the light sources which make absolutely no sense and instead injoy an icey cold cup of eyeball punch.

About 1/3rd of the way through this I wanted to flip my table and burn everything down, only to end up loving the finished piece. But that seems to have become the norm with these inktober pieces.

This Inktober was supposed to be a lot smaller, it was actually going to cut off a little before where the boob-grabby hands ended, but I wanted to have all my inktober's be aproximately the same size! I'm hoping to either make all my inktober pieces into a cool zine/booklet, or make all of them available as prints!

I'm super excited to paint this one because I feel like I rarely get to use autumn-y colors. I did just get some orange markers I've yet to try out, so I might use those!
But for all of these I'm planning on doing some mixed media stuff, so watercolor, copic markers and pencils.
I wonder if I can still call it inkt...

One of my other favourite things to do is to make plants/flowers just one simple bright color. That's what I did for my own tattoo designs as well and I know for a fact it looks great on skin!

We've developed Rick's story a bit further and aside from starting out as a hunter who captured Max, he's gotten a bit more depth now. Just a bit. He's still mostly there to look handsome.

Holy crap I really wanna do more funky looking smoke. This was so much work but an absolute joy to paint. I did the skull with watercolor and the smoke with markers! Sadly I can't achieve that vibrant blue shade with just watercolor.
