I did what I do best at and fell off my highline! But I put the dynomometer between me and the leash to find out how much force the only NON-redundant part of our highline sees.

Let's alleviate traffic away from the most popular lines in Yosemite. We have lines here that are easy, hard, seasonal, open year around and more. This is to help make your trip to Yosemite just a little bit smoother. Please consider doing this for your local highline area, message me and we can work together t...

Fiber reinforced tape is great to tape your main line and backup together on a highline because it won't tear when it is windy or during whippers, but is it so strong that it can break your webbing? We tested fiber tape, duct tape, and climbing tape up to 16 layers thick on our break test machine and filmed it in slow moti...

Want to see an easy way to derig a highline in under 2 minutes... well sort of under 2 minutes. Watch us derig a new line we just established in Yosemite that is near Taft Point and is 84 meters and we named it "Your Mom". Having the soft release on the static side makes it much easier, quicker and safer to derig. &n...

Here are 32 break tests to compare how sewn loops hold up on webbing. We compare the strength of the loops that I had done by a local source at the jump center near where I live with the strength of webbing in weblocks. We film each break in slow motion and organized a chart that can be found at Slackademics. <...

FINALLY! I dreamed of doing this a year ago and I finally have a SlackSnap machine worthy of the task. We are going to break stuff... lots of stuff. In fact I've already done 70 samples. It is portable, it can "safely" go up to 177KN and unsafely to 222KN. Why on earth do I want something so strong?...

The most expensive thing you will do slacklining/highlining is buy gear twice. In a perfect world you would buy gear that you can use for both slacklining and highlining. I present an option for an entire setup that would cost less than $1000 and you can do everything with and be able to add to it, rather than outgro...

Pablo Signoret tells us what it was like to be one of the first to send a mile long highline. On June 9th, 2017 Pablo Signoret, Nathan Paulin and Lucas Milliard with the SDD team (Sangle Dessus-Dessous) led by Guillaume Barrande, all sent the 1662 meter or 5,453 foot long highline. This line was 340 meters or 1...

I should have made this video a long time ago. If you are new, and have no gear, and want to slackline so you can eventually highline... then this is the episode you must watch. The biggest expense of buying gear... is having to buy gear twice because it works for slacklining, but not for highlining (and vice-versa)....
