Cross grip pass setup by Erich Munis
Interesting pass done by Erich Munis vs Nolan Stuart in the finals of the Brasilerio last weekend. Nolan has a very good guard and was able to retain for 9 mins using the cross lapel guard but was defeated by this pass eventually.

Half guard players 😡
Just came back from training in Korea and ran into a lot of old school half guard players here are some of my takeaways 1) keep your knee at an angle 2) get a near side underhook and sprawl to avoid deep half 3) hand fight to control the far arm first

Easy and high % move. I saw Lucas Valente do this against Gianni at the 2024 nogi worlds and against Natan Cheung in the 2023 Brasileiro in gi. Give it a try and let us know if you have any questions!

Sweep a stalling opponent in 40 seconds
Using the lapel system as well as the k guard system to sweep your partner quickly. This is a new combination I discovered in training and has been working really well!
