Ally is a lawyer as her day to day job and Dew is a realtor for his day to day job. Helps when your roommate is your coworker and gives you leads, likewise helps keep Ally in a cheery mood and a hand with paperwork.
Also taking her out for some food here and there keeps the stress down.

Dani loves eating souls for the power they grant and how filling they can be, however they go away quite quickly as she has said the soul then moves on and is no longer lingering. DD doesn't mind this much now...
