Now we reach end game. I guess I never noticed when writing it but Princess Celestia plays a rather big role in Ascension. 

She's the matriarch, who knows what's best. And well, she's not against Shining Armor, really. She knows him. It's just too quick, that's all.

My initial idea was for Jackie to be with him, but it would be a little awkward after certain events. And friends need time to themselves, especially if one loses a best friend. But the idea for Janna to stop by was nice to play with.
