We are currently anchored near the airport of Aruba. It's been a quiet morning and we were about to scoot over to Oranjestad.

But all that changed in the blink of an eye!

Hey peeps, we are just 13 Miles away. To our port side we can see the lights of Venezuela 🇻🇪 and ahead the light house of the southern tip of Aruba 🇦🇼. We are not allowed to anchor before checking, so we have to slow down to 1.5 knots until morning.

We spent another few days with our heads buried in the engine, hoping to finally emerge with some good news.

It's been 3 weeks of getting up in the morning and taking the engine apart, going non-stop till 2-3am just trying to figure things out. 🤯🤯 Going to bed with more worries and more confused...

Why does everything on a sailboat have to be so complicated? I guess that's just part of this lifestyle. The Sailing is easy, but the rest that comes with boat life is the most difficult part of all.
