Just sharing one of my approaches for choosing color.
In the future I will post more examples of works where I have used this one or of traditional art where similar techniques seems to have been used.
After the last request, I don't feel like I'm done with her yet!... What do you think of these options for another image? (probably will be ready till the next month).

I haven't played the game but I liked her design. In general I like exotic characters in tribal clothes/armor motifs.
I'm still thinking about if there is some edits that could be done.
About the process. This is practically the same method I used with Secret Spring but in a quick fashion (only two days):

Gesture is trying to capture the main action of a character with as few lines as possible. It helps to align the construction of a character to a base so it has rhythm and energy.
Just as you might know, I almost always start my drawings with a gestural idea/sketch. Later it can change in some parts like limbs...
