As I have said in the note to this story, it came from a little idea and a song title, but as I sold to put this story into its place in time I learned what a special year 1969 was in American cultural history, and I had to include all of these things.

The Cure

I usually avoid fantasy stories, but in taking on this idea from Erin there was sufficient medico-babble to make it vaguely plausible, and she was under some pressure and stress at the time and needed some uplifting - I hope this story has the same effect for others

Inspired by AlwaysFem No. 3

I like the captioned images done by Always Fem that appeared on bdsmlr.  The images are good and the captions short but useful.  This might explain why I have extended their work at least 15 times because this is the third collection of 5 vignettes inspired by their work. 

Roadside Encounter

Sometimes a conversation just pops into my head.  It is a transwoman, or somebody closing in on that identity, and a man of wit and good nature.  It just need a circumstance to bring them together, and then I just write whatever they say to one another.
