If Germans find out you're a wine drinker they love telling you about this drink and it's name (it means cold pussy cat)
It's basically wine and cola mixed.

Background was done in Acrylic ink and the rest was gouache aside from the black recipe background is acryla gouache.

Tortie

So it dawned on me I rarely paint Tortoiseshell cats, which torties have a soft spot in my heart as my first cat Minksy was a Tortie. I seen her as like a sister in a troubled childhood.

Catto heads

I actually find cats looking up difficult, it's like their noses disappear into their round faces and it's easy to loose their cheekbones so it's something I like to practice.

Kalte Muschi WIP

I really liked how this looked with just line art and acrylic ink washes on it. I think because it can look like aged paper.

Nice thing about acrylic ink washes is that they often make paper dry tighter unlike watercolour, so I often don't stretch paper as it's not needed.

The Salty Coyote

I wanted the booze animals to be less formulaic than the café  animals I did a year ago.
This was done on 9X12 hot press paper with arylic ink wash as a background, gouache and black recipe and white title is done in acryla gouache.

IXth life

This is a diecut sticker I designed, it will be printed on brushed metal alloy sticker at 3X4. The cats and the white numbers will be opaque and the yellow/silver will be metallic.
In theory, I sent them to the company so hopefully this works out.

His Domain

This painting I wanted to play with orange/brown with a drastically different background of greens. I varnished it with a matte finish which I quite liked as it brought out the details in the face nicely.

Rough colour mockup of the Salty Coyote poster.
Background will be a wash of Acrylic ink, rest will be gouache and the white font and black recipe background will be acryla gouache.

All Dress Up & No Place to Go

I wanted to make a vintage poster art looking piece with a tuxedo cat as it dawned on me I didn't have any art of bicolour cats.

Gouache paintings

Last two days I've been painting Kuroro which it's been a lot of small details. I still need to tighten up the details on the lower part and obviously the roses/name tiles.
Decius one won't take as long as it's a mostly black/grey character which grey is super easy for me in gouache.

Gilded Print

Wild & Free WIP- colour mock up

When I'm painting I almost never paint without a digital mockup(sketchbooks aside as that's a sketchbook not a painting).
I find I work faster and with more confidence if I take a little extra time to make a rough mock up.
