I read in a Wikipedia article somewhere that storing locks of your loved one gives you a special protection against evil. Mitsuri hears this story from a romance novel, tells it to Rengoku, who in turn decides to uses it for Tanjiro.
To be honest, I just wanted to draw Rengoku and Tanjiro in long hair!

I think Tanjiro naturally has high body temperature, coming from a coal family, but Rengoku is also hot-bodied coming from a fire-breathing technique family. Put those 2 together and you have very warm bed time.

For any married couple, sending off your spouse would be so hard and thinking of this in Endhawks term gave me pretty angsty vibes. But in the end, since Hawks is part of the Todoroki family, he wouldn't be alone anymore.

Due to age gap, I think Endeavor and Hawks have very different date ideas.
In my headcanon, Hawks grew up more "sheltered" and his date plan involves going to the amusement park and doing very PG things.
Endeavor, on the other hand, has definitely more "adult" things on his mind for their date night.
