Upcoming - Captain Marvel
The next painting guide will be for this Captain Marvel mini from Marvel Crisis Protocol. Trying out some new recipes, and I really like what I ended up with for the blonde hair and skin.
PDF should be up tomorrow!

This time I've painted something from TTCombat's Rumbleslam, a fantasy wrestling game filled with ridiculous characters— kinda like regular wrestling!
I took the opportunity to try some new mixes for skin and I think I'll definitely be using this recipe again. If you need me to clarify anything in the guide feel free to...
Here's the painting guide for the O12 Gangbuster.
For this mini I really wanted to use more of my AK paints since I love the consistency. They were especially pleasant to work with for the black clothing and armor. Despite the latter being a light color, the paints cover really well over the black primer. The consiste...
Next guide is for this Gangbuster hacker I got at a tournament last month. This was mostly an excuse for me to try out a different white/warm grey recipe for when I inevitable repaint my O-12.
Should be up this weekend :)
Scratching the fantasy itch, here's a painting guide for one of Turnip28's Fodder infantry. Sculpts from this range are really whacky and charming, it reminds me a lot of the game Little Nightmares.
I also really want to experiment more with true metallic painting, there's potential for some really cool results with...
Painting Guide for Cassandra Kusanagi!
I was going for something closer to the original Bakunin scheme here. Most enjoyable part of this mini was the sword, even though it was a bit awkward to paint because the arm was glued on.
Thanks as always for your support!
Here is the painting guide for the Veteran Kazak.
I tried to go for a color palette similar to the Kosmoflot Sectorial colors. I know Vet Kazaks aren't available in Kosmoflot but I think they look cool with the color scheme.
Thanks as always for your support!
Vet Kazaks are the coolest Ariadna minis, although I'm quite fond of the new Patchers too :)
The painting guide for this should be up either tomorrow or Monday.
Here's the painting guide for the Sunduqbut! I want to use this scheme with future minis. We need more blue on this page :)
Thanks as always for your support!
Painting guide for the Sunduqbut will be up tomorrow.
It's kind of a rarity in the Infinity miniatures line to find something that has this many hard edges and I love it. I've wanted to paint some blue Haqqislam for a long time, and this thing was the perfect opportunity to test out some colors.
I also wanted t...
Here's a painting guide for the elite bodyguards of the Yu Jing Emperor— the Hsien Warriors!
This is my favorite Yu Jing mini and the main reason I bought Operation Red Veil back in the day. My other ISS figures are painted with green armor but I wanted this dude to stand out a bit since he's an elite agent. I did ma...
I've been busy painting a Yu Jing Hsien for the next guide. At this stage the armor is pushing toward khaki but I'm planning to push it up to an off-white. For the sword blade I'm considering doing blue-green.
It's been a bit slow going thanks to local power outages but the guide should be done in a few days :)
Another limited edition Infinity the Game mini! I've wanted to paint this one for a long time and I'm still sad that I wasn't able to get this mini while it was available.
Unlike Knauf, whom I've painted a few times for different commissions, this is likely the only time I'll get to paint this version of Wild Bill so ...
Limited Edition Wild Bill is the next guide. It should be up tomorrow :)
2023-03-27 19:02:13 +0000 UTC View PostHere's the guide for Knauf!
This is like the fourth or fifth time I've painted this guy and I'm pretty happy with how this one came out. I think the color scheme is suitably "Mercenary" and it'd probably work really well on some Druze too.
If you've got any questions about the process that isn't clear in the gu...
Hi all,
So this month I've come into possession of a limited edition mini of the Outlaw Sniper Knauf.
This will probably be the fifth time I'll have painted this mini since it was released with Outrage a few years back. Instead of the studio color scheme I'm going with something drab this time around so that he...
Here's the painting guide for Candy Double.
Since this one is coming really late it'll be public for a couple of weeks to allow anyone exiting in Feb a chance to download it after they lose access.
Thanks for your support everyone!
Another Infinity mini but something a little different this time— Candy Double, a famous investigator and celebrity.
I was a little bored of painting power armored soldiers and this mini has been sitting on my table for YEARS!
January kind of got away from me so this one is coming a bit later than I intended but ...
Hey everyone, here's the painting guide for the new Hoplite mini from Corvus Belli.
This was one of the most hype things to come with the Operation Blackwind box and minis that are mostly armor are always fun to paint.
The aim with this scheme was to get something that looked a bit like antique Greek pottery a...
Been working on a tutorial for the Steel Phalanx Hoplite— the coolest mini in the Blackwind box set next to the Ekdromoi in my opinion.
This one's taken a bit longer than expected but should be uploaded tomorrow.
Here's the painting guide for Mendoza.
Balancing the amount and saturation of orange and red in this scheme took some thinking about but I like what I ended up with in the end.
I'm currently working on a guide for the limited edition version of Mendoza from Infinity. Avoiding the classic PanO blue this time and going for a red/orange/black scheme similar to his Aristeia version.
Guide should be up over the weekend! :)
Hey everyone,
I'll finally be back to making new painting guides starting next month. I've acquired a few minis while I've been away that I've been saving for the Patreon and I'm really excited to get some paint on those.
I just want to add a big thank you to everyone who continued to support durin...
Here's the painting guide for Hasht. The trio of Combined Army miniatures is complete!
I quite like the end result. Really went for something I could replicate quickly if I decided to get a small Shasvastii army in the future. The likelihood of that happening is debatable since Aleph will always be my favorite to both ...
Hey everyone,
I just want to give you all a heads-up that I'll be going on hiatus starting in July.
I'm having trouble juggling the Patreon with my other work without burning out. So I'm going to take a break to clear some backlog and work on some of my own projects. I don't know how long this break will last, b...
Hey everyone
The original color schemes for much of the Combined Army was very chaotic— Shasvastii had about 3 or 4 different schemes just within their line!
This combo of greens and black, found on the original Noctifiers, are my favorite so of course I wanted to try and replicate it on the current minis.
Hi everyone,
This month I'll cap off the series of Combined Army painting guides I've been making recently with Hasht, a Shasvastii Corax agent!
I'm not a huge fan of the current red and black studio scheme of the Combined Army, so I think I'll be painting him in the classic Shasvastii greens.
Here is the painting guide for the Tyrok Hunter.
This is such a cool mini with some fun lore— they are essentially the alien equivalent of Hunters from the Monster Hunter video games and that played a lot into my choice of colors for this mini. You do a lot of diving and rolling in those games to avoid being straigh...
Hi everyone,
The Tyrok Hunter painting guide will be up in a few days.
The color scheme ended up a bit warmer than I initially intended but I still like what I ended up with. Even thought I kept the palette fairly limited it still took a good while to paint this just because I kept coming across new tiny detai...
Hi everyone,
As mentioned on the Discord, I've got my hands on some of the newly released Morat Aggression Forces minis from Infinity the Game. Among them is this awesome Tyrok Hunter which I'll be painting for the next guide!
This mini has a lot going on but I think it's going to be a fun one.
