Ashley's German Suplex is a little unique.  Instead of a nice arching motion, she starts by lifting her opponent almost straight into the air before shifting her hips forward up to achieve a nearly vertical drop for her opponent.

This is some more concept art that I've never posted anywhere before.  I was happy with how the costumes turned out and am planning to use them again some day.  

I love the seriousness of the fighter on the right.  The one on the left looks a little bewildered like, "how did that happen so fast?"

It's about to begin...

I'm just starting to work on the first full fight and it will feature my two rookies, Ashley Pierce and Stephanie Hawk. 

I will probably post 2-3 pages per update.  Please bear with me as I try to figure out the best way to keep this all organized so you can easily find sequential images.

The PFF training center is my posing workshop where I can show you various moves without you having to wait for them in a fight.

The abstretch is a tricky hold to pose, but as you can see, Ashley has no problem locking it on her taller opponent. 

My next update will have them with their roles reversed.

More work on the PFF arena...

I spent some more time tonight working on the PFF arena and checking lighting, textures etc.  I'm really liking these two fighters.  Stephanie Hawk in red looks intense and athletic.  Ashley in blue looks casual/relaxed but at the same time, like someone you don't want to mess with.

Starting to think about the first match...

These are raw test renders where I was mostly playing around with sweat spray and environment lighting.  I "think" I've gotten it dialed in.

I'm happy how dynamic the poses look even without motion blur and my other postwork tricks.
