I've been hoping to one day be commissioned to draw my all-time favorite character from my all-time favorite cartoon (ok, "animated film" XD) - and it FINALLY happened this year!
This ended up being one of the the most complicated art pieces I've done in my life, and it was 100% worth it.

This was actually the very first page of my next Dune sketchbook, bu I've kept my initial sketch untouched in pencils for almost two months before finally getting to finish it this week. What do you think about this Irulan? A pretty unorthodox drawing for her, I suppose.

Flipping through the process photos above, you could notice some pretty dramatic edits happening to the page on later stages. And I'm still going to clear out even more of background inks and grey tones from panel 1, because I obviously got carried away...
