At long last, here's the final colored pic for June! I am now going to upload the high resolution files to dropbox and send out the rewards to all June Patrons. That should be ready within the hour. As I stated in my last post with the failed sketch, I actually drew an entirely new scene for the 3rd pic... But it just didn't work out. Something about how her face being turned away from the camera took away a lot of the "message"...

Failed sketch... but I learned something!

Sometimes, no matter how good you are feeling about your skills, you just hit a road block. This pic was one of them. I Worked and reworked this drawing several times, and even got it to this stage of clean lines... But in the end, it just didn't convey the message I wanted. I think it has something to do with her face being out...

Phew! That one took a while to finish! 

I mean, the first pic in a set always takes a bit longer, because I spend a lot of time trying to figure out how I want to do different aspects... But I am looking forward to moving on to the next pics in the set. The background trees were the hardest part for me, and I am still not...

It's Shantae! I just watched a playthrough of this on Gamegrumps, and had to draw the main character. That's a heart squid next to here, which you use to get more health.
