Knock's bare feet amidst all that rubble make me extremely nervous but I think they are part of her final form. Probably she has calluses just as thick as Sette's from running around shoeless as a Sharte kid.

Elka did what she could for his arm while they were off-screen, but it's still on there. Just wrapped up tight against his body so it's not all floppin' around. Sick loot drop though. I'm sure the doggo cannon won't wind up malfunctioning in this fire or being haunted at the worst time.

Good thing he kept a snack for the kids, but Anadyne isn't going to satisfy them for long.

One of my favourite pages this chapter. I think everyone is a little bit right and also a little bit wrong, and those are the best kinds of arguments. They're not gonna keep at this, there's too much else going on, but keep it in mind when they're alone again.

There are a lot of fun little details on this page. The fire's strong enough and the ghosts are pissed enough that they can start just making monsters outta broken pavement. Pipe teeth!

Duane seems to be in a bad way unfortunately. Never good when anyone's floating in space like a model that loaded in wrong.

For not the first time, Cutter loses control of his little friends. Long ago, Knock accused him of being afraid to be alone with them. For good reason, I think. Being alone with your pain can lead to bad outcomes.

Not a lot of joy drawing this page. My dogs always had hip problems towards the end of their days, and thinking back on how they'd scoot around on their forelegs trying to stand up wasn't a good time. Dogs are too perfect.

I love the little teeth peeping from Sette's gory hand. They're a really weird feature and skirt the periphery of body horror, if you ask me. I can't wait to draw them more now that they've finally broken skin.
