As it is the last day of May, even if it's still in process, here the lineart of the last mermaid anyway! And I'm really sorry for the censor but I had fun with it ^^. For the next one it will be without and colored (hopefully soon, but I'm a bit busy with other stuff)

A little step by step

Well, had to take a commission in a hurry with really tight deadlines,  so here are some steps of it from very rough idea to the begining, of refinning, and lineart. I will post more following my own  progress. Hope to make the faster as possible but I never make something simple... damn... ^^'

Damned ropes

Just some spoil/update for the last mermaid, but as said in the title,  damned ropes... wanted to draw precisely and in full to contrast with  the body, and it works well, but it takes time ^^' + the time to find  how and where to make the way for the rope...

Nautilus

Feeling definitively and surprisingly, pretty inspired with this theme.

Mixing drawing, and kind of compositing, playing with colours sheme, blur and noise. Really fun and this time really managed to speed up a bit all my process.

Coloring and shading (quietly)

Some saturday progress. Used bruches completely differently for testing.

The shading is done in one layer with only hard edge, will maybe smooth it a bit but not sure (sharp is good for this one^^)

Some progress but not as much as I wanted as I'm working on several stuff at the same time (but in the same time: more stuff incomming :)). Made some adjustments and started to add a global pass of shading, still rough and unfinished, but we get a better idea of the mood.

Colouring wip

Always pretty long and not easy ^^'... Trying to make it quite simple, but well... There are just flat and some gradient colors and I added an upper colored layer to make all a bit more homogenous. Still have to set it well with shading and lights
