For almost a month, my buddy has had to wear a cone. He had to have a growth surgically removed from his front leg and wore the cone during recovery. While he wasn’t happy about it he was a trooper! Today the cone came off!

This is a short performative piece set on a cold winter day at dusk.
In my favorite boots, I set out to spin.
Perhaps a commentary on the cyclical nature of life as we spin around the sun repeating our own patterns and habits.
I’m never sure how glazes or colors will turn out.
With the success on the white clay on my previous chawan, I feel a little more emboldened with the iron oxide. So I went even heavier on this piece. It was then covered with a clear glaze. I’ll share the final results when this has been fired!

A session of making music.
I set up the Kaossilator and the Donner Synth Bass to work on some music making.
I was pretty pleased with the beat and sound of it all as I bopped to the beat. I paired it all with some recent footage of sky time lapses and the patterns created on the Kaossilator.

Today's drawing was created on canvas with acrylic paint. It's a switch in mediums from the charcoal and paper that I normally use. That being said, it also took a bit longer than the charcoal drawings. I've edited the video with a higher speed during the drawing/painting part to make it a more manageable length.
