Taco Tuesday Update!

May the 4th be with you!

As a kid, I enjoyed the world(s) of Star Wars! By the time I was a young mother, I endured the long lines of opening nights to take my kids to the latest installments. 

Here, a little fun with a Darth Vader helmet and green screen.

On the (digital art) easel

It's awhile since I've been learning how to use Adobe Illustrator. Digital art is a challenge for me. I'm pleased to share the designs I've created! I'll be launching these designs for t-shirts very soon!

It's important to take a moment once in a while to enjoy nature and the world that surrounds us.  It's important for me to remember to point a camera at myself and share those moments with you.  Thank you all so much for being here and supporting me and my art.   It means so much to me.

Painting figures is my favorite at the moment! Of course I also take great joy from painting textures, and this piece has both! From the petal covered ground to the lovely curves and shadows, I’m really enjoying the process!

Stepping out!

I was stepping out on a beautiful day and it just made sense to open up my shirt and feel the breeze!  It's okay, there were lots of men out without shirts on so I know that it was completely legal for me.

Saturday night dancing!

I filmed some of my usual fun dancing to one of my favorite songs Stadium Pow Wow.  It's so fun to move to!   I hope that you all are having an excellent weekend!

My mowing was cut short yesterday. I was riding along when I spotted something moving in the long grass before me. I thought initially that it was a toad, but I was mistaken. It was a baby bird. A lovely morning.

I stopped to get some fruit for breakfast.  It was warm and peaceful even in town. Traffic was light and birds were singing.  A man jogged past without a shirt on.  No one made any judgements about him.  It can be a long walk to where you're going.

As my mind and hand began to find a groove with one another, I checked out from all other thoughts and even the sounds in the room around me. I was lost in shape, color, and pattern.
