Just a reminder, this Sunday we've got an exclusive interview with Droid Builder and Puppeteer Lee Towersey, who build and controlled many of the droids we have seen in the new Star Wars movies. The Interview is on Facebook Live on the Mrbaddeley Printed Droid Facebook group!

I've updated the V2 now to add the new centre Omniwheels as an option. You'll find them in the main share, under STLS-R2D2V2erFeet-R2D2Ver2CentreFoot-Uprgraded Omniwheels 2.0 These fit the standard V2 frame and skins, so just the omniwheels and frame needs printing and bolting in place of the nylon ones.

I’ve revised the drive unit. The new version has direct gears rather than belts, much easier to set up. Herringbone gears for a smoother quieter drive. I’ve made the whole thing bolted together, no glue needed, revised the omniwheels to include 3mm bearings and ninjaflex tyres for smooth / quiet running (and much cheaper ...
