The shading was a whole journey, I spent some quality time trying to get those shadows right. And to make things funnier, I had Byleth stare at me with those judgey eyes the whole time... it was wild lol
I also included a flat color version because I always end up liking those better π

This drawing was from imagination entirely (except for the character designs) so you can call this an experiment~ Painting them was very fun!! I definitely wanna do more illustrations like these where there are no reference constraints~
