As you can see, I decided to forego the bell sound for this page. I felt it cheapened the impact of this story beat. X3

And here's the tiedown! The panther's face kept looking awkward to me, but it turns out it was because I wasn't used to drawing him with that kind of vulnerable expression. That's why it felt wrong. xD I drew a smile on him as a test, and when it looked perfect, I realized that was the problem.

As you can see, I did most of the text here with an actual text tool - the reason for that is because I did sooooo many passes on the dialogue for this page to get it just right. It was often too wordy so it slowed things down. Finally, I arrived at this, which felt good!

The reason for the blue lines here was that I decided to redo Nes's poses/expressions after the first pass of the script. This was my second pass of this page. :3

This week on Patreon will be entirely Little Runt themed! 

To start off the week, here's a little behind-the-scenes look at something I use for every page, the color key! To make the pages easier/faster to make, I made this - that way I wouldn't have to go back to another page, undo all the shading...

A black and white version is included! A lot of bands like doing black and white photography, since it tends to look sophisticated, so I did that for this one too as a bonus. :3
