I used to do shoots like this standing on bedside tables but these days I can barely stand at all so I put the camera on a boom stand positioned directly over the model whether it be on a bed or in a bath. Unless you are paying the big bucks hotel room baths are usually really small and you have to make do. Sometimes its hard to fit your model in so there head is away from the edges and at the angle you need, as displayed here in this behind the scenes shot with Hemdah from the Gold Coast shoot earlier in the year.
