Long Hair with Sunni Pom (3/3) - finding those shapes
My process is as follows
1) make a tiny version of the shape with clay. Then cut it out and flatten it.
2) Measure the space I want to fill.
3) Scale it up. You can do this by scanning it into a computer and printing it. My software wasnt working so I just copied the shape using measurements.

Use masking tape to make a canvas over the eyes. Carefully draw the shape you want and then transfer it to stiffened felt. I use adhesive felt and peel the adhesive part off. This is a force of habit and you can use regular felt.

Using washable marker to pattern & washing all pieces
So we pattern the inside of the faces with Crayola washable marker and them wash before for the following reasons:
1. With so many projects flying around a small space, we don't want to risk getting Sharpie on their fur .

I cut my foot right before recording this so if I sound a bit off thats why. Exacto blade went right into my heel while recording. But I hope that you can pick up some things from this video.

Some tips and tricks for ears
1- no need to pattern the inside of the ear when working with minky! Just glue a square on there and cut down the excess. Leave a small amt along the edge to hand sew the fur floofs to.

Tip: Shave down Luxury Shag to teddy length on Bodysuits
I am working on an in depth look at all the blades I use. I recommend the andis clipper most fursuit makers use. I go over it briefly here.
