This starts the xmas arc. The elf in this is the legacy elf character from "Slay Bells". I don't know if that's Mistletoe or not... I haven't decided.
This arc is very much like an old school ZR thing... It's also pretty stupid in places, but hopefully has some charm.

I don't remember where I say things since I'm trying to explain myself in a few places, so if you've heard it before, I'm sorry. Pictures are the new site and current/soon to be old site showing the exact same space for the same comic.
The new site will have much larger comics on it as monitor resolutions have increased...

I think we have a winner.
I did another pass with the facial features and mixed 25% of her legacy skin tone into the reboot skin tone so it's more of a hybrid between the two.

As I'm uploading comics, I'm uploading comics where she has this style of hairdo... so I thought, "Why not just try that on a more modern design of her?" I think I'm happier with this pass.

I've been meaning to put some time into a Lizzy redesign so she stands out more from Annie and Maggie... all of them are plus sized with glasses and dark hair...
This is only the first draft, I'll do another pass before she shows back up again, but I wanted to get this started before I started slaving away at the upload...

I think the NSFW comic page this month is a Glenda and Lizzy page, so I wanted to some work to get designs dialed in. I need to redesign Lizzy, so I might have that before... maybe not-- depends on how my time ends up with work on the site.

I've got up to 2014 uploaded/with edited blog posts. That's 673 comic posts... and each post takes me on average two minutes... so if you do the math, it's been a lot of work... and there's about the same amount left to do I'd guess. I don't truly know.

Writing
Writing scripts for two different comic strips is interesting. I do one as a three panel and the other as a four panel... The tone for one is much darker humor than the other, too.
Both are wildly different than writing for my full page comic as well.
