Hope everyone is having a better start to their mondays than I am. I nearly posted this with all the shading layers turned off. Maybe I'll take my time working on the upcoming pages today so I'm not missing any other big things...

I bet ya'll thought I'd forgotten about the actual race. Inking backgrounds would be a lot easier if Procreate would support more than 2 layers at the size of these pages. I have have Clip Studio on my iPad now, I assume it could support more layers but it doesn't feel as nice to ink with as Procreate. Artist problems.

This is where the blue lighting really washed out the color shifts. I really should have thought more about using blue to light orange objects... oh but look the loompettes are bringing the red back!
Like before, I've attached a screencap of the colors without any shading covering them up.

The way I did the lighting on this page and the next masked some of the color shifts on her skin. Didn't make a huge difference here, she's changing from green to a lighter yellowish green, but I've attached a screencap of the last two panels without any shading.

It's tight, being in the crease of a two-page spread.
I do normally avoid putting important parts of an image in the crease of a spread buuuut it's not like I have plans to actually print these and I do think being caught there fits what's going on. Maybe if Size Con keeps being a thing I'll get some printed some day.
