My goal was to have an update ready by Wednesday, but I've been suffering from the flu the past week, which hasn't exactly done wonders for productivity, so I'm a little behind schedule.

Well, I have gotten a lot done these past few weeks, but I still have nearly as much left, and a slight panic is starting to set in, but I'm soldiering on. So all I can say is that the next update will likely be released at the very end of  the month.

It's been nearly two weeks since last I posted any news. But fear not, I've been very busy with the game!

I've rendered several scenes, have completed most of the script, created/recreated some maps and have even given the HUD some love (although it put up quite a fight...).

A new month, and yet another promised update (what have I done?). Anyway, I had to postpone some of the Frida stuff last month to get the update out in time. So I'll  do a bit more story for her gestation well under way before tying her off, for now.

Dear Patron's

Just a small word of warning: In order to do this update in about three weeks I had to skip my quality control guy, so it's only been tested by me.

Although I haven't found any bugs, please keep a copy of your old save games just in case.

To make matters worse, I'm leaving for a mountain cabin tomorro...

Peasant's Quest v0.65 Released

So, last time I promised another two updates before the end of the year, and here is the first one.

This contains a lot of under the hood changes, so it's rather light on the new quest's front, but there are still a couple of nice scenes to look forward to.

Status update

So, I promised you another release before the end of the month, and I intend to keep that promise. I still have some work left to do, so it won't be this weekend, but hopefully on Wednesday, Thursday at the latest.

Oh yeah, as you can see, you'll finally get to enter Shakala's tent:-)

New Character

Next month I'd like to introduce a new character. There are three more female characters I'd like to add to the game (well, actually there are a lot more than that, but they have to wait a while longer). You get to decide which of the first three I'll add.

Black screen when loading saves?

When loading savegame from an older version, you'll face a black screen. This is because the lights weren't turned on in the old game. Lights will turn on automatically once an hour passes (in game).

How to fix?

Load your save game, enter option menu and turn off "lighting effects". Then spend an hour by walking off the ...
