I've made myself promise that for this new project, I will draw my gas effects from scratch for every animation. No more relying on the same effects over and over!
That being said, I definitely need to work on them.
Kinda hard to chop this one into bits, so here's the whole sequence from beginning to end! Minus the gas.

Phew. After an interrupted week, we finally get to the final squash animation for Roxxie. An ending to one of her first squash animations I ever did.
No weasels were harmed in the making of this animation. Except Texas.
For if Roxxie KOs you with the post-rock-throw butt slam! I decided to go super simple with this, because I wanted to try my hand at doing a Trybat-style disk flattening!
Also I gave it a nice border because I'm going to upload it publicly as well.
For those who prefer their AV a bit cleaner!

Still more to come on this, and I need to redo the smear effect. This will lead into an AV end though, so you can probably tell where Tex is gonna crash land.
After spending all day on this animation, I'm not even sure I'll include it in the game! It's meant to be an ending to either April KO move, but both sequences are already quite long, and this is even more. I may consider giving this a one-in-ten chance to play or something.

It's astonishing how flexible a weasel's tongue can be, in the right paws.
These are not angles that I usually animate at, so I'm really happy with how this came out!
I anticipate that this won't be to everyone's taste. It certainly isn't to Texas's!

In the end I opted for something simple to finish this one off. I think I can get caught in the trap of overly elaborate finishers a lot of the time, when sometimes, you just need a weasel gassed-out in a fuming crater...

I was really hoping to get this one done today and take Friday off, but sadly the well of ideas ran dry, and I couldn't think of a proper way to end it. So that will be Friday's job!
Let me know if the gas effects look ok. Trying something new.
This one won't be winning any prizes for uniqueness, but sometimes, you've just gotta have a roo sit on a weasel's face and gas her...
Also, sadly no non-gas version for this one, because, well... It's kinda nothing without the gas.
Something a bit more conventional after this week's 'adventures in fourth-wall breaking'. On Roxxie's last wall bounce, it Texas is downed, she'll backflip into a heavy facesit.
