Using the splitzer device on my Lomo Instant Film, I did a quick mix of Annika White and Ella Mai Weisskamp while both were in their respective chairs getting hair done.

Carlotta + Anastasia

This was one of my least favorite shoots for a lot of reasons, and I'm sure I'll get into it soon in one of my explainer videos.  I still like this photo though!  Models are Carlotta Champagne and Anastasia Arteyeva, NYC in 2012.

Erin under the bridge

Erin Mae from my NYC trip in April!  We shot out at Coney Island beach, a favorite place of mine in New York because it doesn't feel claustrophobic like everywhere else.  The train to get there actually sees sunlight.

Lorelei + Lady Liberty

I shot this with Lorelei Black in the parking lot of the Brooklyn Museum, where they have a small scale Statue of Liberty.  The thought process behind these monochrome B+W images were akin to Duane Michals' images with writing underneath.  The caption reads "The lady and me".

Kacie round 1

This was from my first shoot with Kacie Marie in 2015.  I didn't have the instax square printer at the time, but found my 2018 print version to be a better version of these images than the plain jane digital stuff I shot it on.  By the time this posts I should have shot with Kacie again in NYC!

The long long Sky

This is from my recent shoot with Sky in SF.  I screwed up the exposure on each of the pieces so added india ink to generate some consistency between the images.

I don't remember if Andrea was a Suicide Girl proper or a hopeful, but it was an opportunity to check out a neat area of California called San Clemente, where this was taken.  Or Laguna Beach.  Many of these shoots from 2011 just blend together.

Wildflower Body Painted

This is a time-lapse of a body paint session with model Wildflower in 2014.  It was a long session where the body painter Jamie and I designed the words with a word cloud app, watched Barbarella, drank a lot of wine, and I took a nap.  Images from the session attached.  Password for the video is "psychedelic"!

Shoshana

Shoshana was recommended to me by Alina/ Thumbelina due to her really distinct personality and expressions.  We connected in Seattle one freezing March morning and 2 hours later, there was cake spatter on bar walls and a woman pulling out of her own driveway was told "suck my dick" by the model.
